Cut to remove it a little less than one sheet, and then all the leaves below. Cut the top spot only 4 inches of stem cells, with about 2 or 3 pairs of leaves. Place the stems in water and store in a place of light, but direct sunlight. When the roots begin to grow (after a week or more irrigated), transplantation into the compost in a pot and hold it. Place in a shady and protected in the garden if it explore new growth markets, you spotted on the light, then in full sun for a few weeks. Now you can plant in the garden, if you like, but always well watered.
Hope this helps.
Put them in water works well, but sometimes be an all or nothing. The rooting hormone works better and faster.
