Capture Handycam Analog Sony Use A Digital Camcorder To Digitize/capture Analog Video From Connected Analog Camcorder?

Use a digital camcorder to digitize/capture analog video from connected analog camcorder? - capture handycam analog sony

I learned the hard way, that is the video capture device for analog laptop is an absolute joke. The USB Digital Video of poor quality, and some have worked only with their own software contains invalid shabby. Finally, a PCMCIA card, and lavished tried something expensive that seemed very promising, but was very hot over the first 15 minutes use, cooked it and my motherboard.

So I'm excited to finally upgrade to a digital camera but I came up with the idea of a digital camera as a recording device / digitizer. I know my existing record analog video camera (Sony Handycam Hi-8) is from an external source in the VTR mode. I wonder whether these have digital video cameras, but of course, scan videoin this process.

Young, incompetent employees at an electronics store (wearing a blue shirt with small yellow logo that were on them) quite arrogant, refused to hear, and they were very small, so you can be sure, not with me, never Shops in the future. In the meantime, here, I wonder ...

I do not want more USB devices or PCMCIA capture analog video, and I will not buy a computer, so do not beat these options. Please do not suggest that services motion picture film, as I want to manually change it, that the content myself. After the capture / digitization, so I'm curious, you can easily transfer the digital video camcorder to the computer when I edit video with any program of my choice.

My laptop motherboard was replaced and I start from scratch. I wonder if my "analog video camera on and the transmission of digital camcorder to your computer for editing" theory is possible, and if so, can I some suggestions for brands and models of digital camcorders?

I thank everyone in advance.

I think it is possible. However, it is quite complicated, and you lose quality, because the card was designed from the digital camera as a conversion mechanism. I have some video tutorial on how to do it on youtube, but I have not even done.

I have a transfer service video entitled StashSpace. They have converted all my videos to digital technology free of charge (in service funding, if you could send a separate storage room, the videotapes will be added free of charge on your account). I know you can guarantee your digitized material into a portable hard drive you want to check, store.

Good Luck
